Principal Investigator
Dr. Crombie is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Florida Tech specializing in evolutionary and quantitative genetics. His research combines genomics, high-throughput phenotyping, and genetic mapping in Caenorhabditis nematodes to investigate how natural genetic variation influences biomedically relevant traits.
Graduate Students
Brianna Wallace
Brianna Wallace is a second-year Ph.D. student in Cell and Molecular Biology at Florida Tech. Her research uses C. elegans to investigate how natural genetic variation influences behavioral phenotypes and susceptibility to environmental toxicants.
Undergraduate Researchers
Kelsey Fox
Kelsey Fox is a senior double-majoring in Genomics and Molecular Genetics and Marine Biology at Florida Tech. Her research focuses on natural genetic diversity in Caenorhabditis, including the collection and characterization of wild isolates and genetic variation in insecticide susceptibility.
Marlee Remington
Marlee Remington is a first-year undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Biochemistry at Florida Tech. She is beginning her research training in the Crombie Lab.
